Faces of FAY: Torrey Tracy
Torrey Tracy, assistant professor of interior architecture and design, came to the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design in 2017 as a visiting professor. In 2019, he became a tenure-track professor. Tracy has a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice, both from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Tracy is a licensed architect in Arkansas and Nevada. He primarily teaches first-year studio and the building systems course.
Faces of FAY: Jennifer Webb
Jennifer Webb, associate professor of interior architecture and design and assistant dean of graduate studies, joined the interior design faculty at the University of Arkansas in 1999. The interior design program became part of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design in 2010. During her 25 years with the university, Webb has pursued an active research agenda focused on person-environment fit and investigated the role of privacy in living environments for older adults.
Faces of FAY: Carl Smith
Carl Smith is professor of landscape architecture at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, where he’s taught since 2008. He is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute and Chartered (licensed) landscape architect in the United Kingdom. He’s also a Chartered Geographer and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He has wide, international experience in the practice, teaching and research of landscape and urbanism, and is co-principal of Worth Design LLC, a landscape architecture and urban design office in Fayetteville.
