Andrew Saunders led a workshop called “Topology and Subdivisional Polygonal Modeling in Architectural Design” last weekend at Vol Walker Hall. Saunders, Assistant Professor and Director of the Graduate Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, is also an architecture alumnus of the Fay Jones School.

The workshop began Friday (Sept. 27) and concluded Monday (Sept. 30) with a review of drawings and models (both laser cut and 3-D printed). For more behind-the-scenes from the design workshop, visit our DesignShop blog.

Saunders gave the lecture “Architectural Transpositions,” about his own work and the topic of the workshop, on Monday evening as part of the Fay Jones School’s 2013-14 lecture series.
