Carl Smith is professor of landscape architecture at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, where he’s taught since 2008. He is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute and Chartered (licensed) landscape architect in the United Kingdom. He’s also a Chartered Geographer and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He has wide, international experience in the practice, teaching and research of landscape and urbanism, and is co-principal of Worth Design LLC, a landscape architecture and urban design office in Fayetteville.

Ngozi “Nome” Brown is an assistant professor of practice in architecture at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. Brown, AIA, ASID, NOMA, NCARB, NCIDQ, M.Ed., LEED AP ND, EDAC, GPCP, is a licensed architect and an NCIDQ-certified interior designer. She is the owner and principal of NOB A+D, PLC, an architecture and interior design firm in central and northwest Arkansas.

Tahar Messadi is an associate professor of architecture and the 21st Century Chair in Sustainability in the Fay Jones School. He is an expert in building systems integration and sustainable design. In addition to teaching in the undergraduate program, Messadi serves as a faculty mentor for U of A students in the Environmental Dynamics doctoral program.
